Talking with some of my friends the other day, I realized that there is so much in Orlando, Florida that I have yet to explore. I have done the theme park scene, the dinner shows and International Drive; but yet I feel like I’m missing out on all Orlando has to offer. So here is my 2008 resolution of things I want to do in Orlando Florida.
1. Audubon Center for Birds of Prey- Where birds of Prey make their home at this rehabilitation center.
2. Helicoptor Tour of Orlando- You can pick several packages as to how much of Orlando you would like to see
3. Guided Bass fishing trip- Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. Most Orlando guides will guarantee that you will catch a fresh water Large mouth bass.
4. Canoe ride up the Wekiva river- I imagine it to be so peaceful in the woods.
5. Try to see a Nascar Race- Daytona is our next door neighbor, so why not.
6. Richard Petty Driving experience- I heard its awesome!
7. Airboat Ride – they are plentiful around here.
8. Gatorland Zoo- Nothing is as cool as seeing a 7ft live alligator.
9. Surfing Lessons- with so many beaches as our neighbor I’m sure to find a great wave!
10. Orlando Science Center- my 4 year old daughter would love to go there.

If you or someone you know is thinking about relocating to Orlando, Florida. I have put together some tips that would help to make your process so much easier.
1. Make sure you find a Good, reliable realtor. Look for someone who has done business in the local area and knowledgeable about Orlando neighborhoods.
2. Look for a Mortgage company. Your realtor should be able to recommend several companies. Call all of them and get a Good Faith Estimate and Truth in lending in writing. Never let them pull your credit until you are 100% sure you want to go with that company. Don’t just compare the interest rate, also compare the fees. Some companies will not charge a discount and origination fee, but their underwriting fee could be high. Others could charge an Origination fee but not charge any other fees.
3. Look for an Insurance Company. Ask your realtor or friends for some referrals. Again call all of them to get quotes. Be careful not all policies are the same. Make sure you read through them carefully and check to make sure you get what you wanted.
4. Once you find out the title company that will be handling the closing, feel free to call them and ask for a quote. Title companies are sure to help you out. That way there are no surprises at closing. Take this time to find out who your closer is, get directions to their office and ask who to make the Cashier check payable to.
When all else fails, get your Realtors advice and help. Your realtor will be with you the entire process helping you out. If you ever need Orlando moving services, storage services, ask your realtor for referrals.
