Living in Florida…

Beside the sunshine, beaches and swaying Palm trees, the best thing about living in Florida is that you are never far away from your next great vacation.  As a little girl my family would always drive south to the Florida Keys where we would stay for weeks at a time, lobstering, fishing, snorkeling and diving the reefs.  We loved our road trips (only 7 hours from Orlando; towing a boat). We would spend so much time in the water and getting the lobsters, forget it.  Down in the keys Lobster Season is like the biggest season around.  Forget Christmas, New Years and July 4th, come August 6th, you had already be in the keys or it would take you a while to get in (two lane road from Florida City all the way down to Key West).  Lobstering is like a business.  We had the Captain (my mom), the hunters (my dad and I), the navigator (one of my sisters) and the watcher (the other sister).  Everyone had their job and everyone did it perfect.  On the first day of Lobster season we would get up early, have a big breakfast (needed the carbs) and head out just as the sun was rising.  We would stay out there all day or until we caught our limit (don’t know if its changed or not but it used to be 6 per person or 24 per boat, whichever is greater).  Those were the memories, of course back then I didn’t eat Lobster, so for me it was just having fun with my family. And the best part about it was we were still in our backyard, backyard to Orlando!!

If you are looking to Relocate to Central Florida, remember that you are never too far from your families greatest vacation.  There are so many places that are so close to Orlando.  The florida keys is just one of them.  Call on the Relocation Experts today for more information on how to relocate your family to Orlando.
