Ever Bored in Your City?

Are you ever bored in your current city?? Well, here in Orlando, there are so many things to do that don’t even cost that much money! Often when people think about Orlando, Florida, all they see is their wallet dwindling down. Although there are a lot of things to do on the expensive side, there are also many lower cost things to keep you occupied.

Here is a list of what I came up with for fun for people of all ages:
·    Ripley’s Believe It or Not
·    Gatorland
·    Lake Eola
·    Orlando Science Center
·    Orange County Historical Center
·    Winter Park Historical Museum
·    Universal’s City Walk
·    My Art Studio
·    Orlando Art Museum
·    Downtown Disney
All of these places offer different forms of entertainment at little to no cost! So if your reservation of Orlando is the cost, you now have no excuse and there is SO MUCH to do!!

Go ahead, take a leap of faith and relocate to “The City Beautiful,” Orlando, Florida.

Orlando is a tourist destination. With all of the theme parks, zoos, beaches and beautiful weather, there is always fun to be had here. I have noticed a trend the last couple of years of theme parks offering better and better deals for Florida residents!

SeaWorld is offering the SeaWorld Fun Card which means you pay for less than one day and get to come back all year long.

Florida & Georgia’s best entertainment value is back!

Now, Florida & Georgia’s residents can Pay for LESS than a day, and come back all year* to enjoy all the sights and splashes of SeaWorld Orlando with a 2010 SeaWorld Fun Card. Enjoy unlimited general admission through December 31, 2010 for only $69.95. How much fun can you have for LESS than the price of one day? Find out! Add Busch Gardens to your SeaWorld Fun Card and double your fun.

A Fun Card in your pocket is your anytime ticket to new attractions and incredible entertainment throughout the year including:

  • Bands Brew & BBQ
  • Viva la Musica
  • SeaWorld AfterDark
  • Halloween Spooktacular
  • Jack Hanna
  • The Polar Express Experience
  • New Year’s Eve

*Price based on an adult single day admission. Price is per person, plus tax and subject to change without notice. Fun Cards expire 12/31/10 and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Fun Stuff to Do Once You Relocate to Orlando …Other than Disney World

Published by rns under Orlando Recreation

Once you relocate to Orlando, you might begin to wonder what are some fun things to do that don’t involve Disney or SeaWorld? Don’t get me wrong, the theme parks are great, but there are plenty of other things to do that don’t involve people dressed up in costumes. You should enjoy the perks of your new location, so here are a few ideas to help you get started.

If you are looking to do something one-on-one with nature, head down to Wekiwa Springs State Park and take a trip down the Wekiva River in a canoe or kayak. The trip takes a couple hours, but is well worth the journey and is a great way to learn about the native plants and animals of your new homes region. Once you move to Orlando you will discover that there are plenty of rivers to paddle down, so purchasing a kayak or canoe is also a fun investment for your family and home and a great way to become more familiar with the area.

If you like to be outside, but aren’t so much into wildlife there are plenty of neighboring cities that are easy to get to from your new home that have unique, historic buildings and quaint shopping centers. Winter Park is built around its historic Rollins College and has streets with plenty of shops and restaurants for you to stroll along and relax. After all your unpacking is finished, treat you family to a day trip to historic St. Augustine! St. Augustine is very similar to Winter Park, except that it houses one of the oldest forts and school houses in America. If you have recently relocated to Florida or are planning to in the future, this is a great place to learn some of Florida’s history and have fun at the same time.

There are plenty of places in Orlando for you to explore and have fun, that don’t cost a fraction of what a theme park would cost. If you are looking to relocate to the Orlando area or have recently moved here, please check out all of the relocation services that I offer for free on my website. I am here to make your move go smoother and make your adjustment to the Orlando area easier. I hope you get a chance to discover some of the great places in Florida that I have come to love so much.
